ahh...im finally updating after almost a month..well, and of course im going to update abt ALL GALS CAMP!!! actually maybe TEENZ SUNFLOWER CAMP!haha..okay..here it goes..
Day 1
I made my way to tampines mrt..thought i was late already actually i was but there was only like 5 pple there..okay..so we waited and waited for more people in the end we only waited for a few more..we were decieved..there were no one else..haha..okayz..so we made our way to fairy point chalet 1..the last chalet..den we changed into our camp shirts..received the camp booklets..tagged ourselves and soon it began...
Ice breaker games..yupz..jus simple games to have fun and know each other a little better and also sharing ur most embarrassing moment..which i shall not talk abt..haha..den we had dinner..nasi lemak!!! haha..den grace passed me lots of her rice...haiz..den i was like eating and eating..like a pig!!haha..den soon night came..and it was time for "relight my fire" I think most of u shld noe what the game was..candle fight!!! teenz most fav game in camps..haha..well a realy exciting game..almost got burnt..i mean my shirt..haha..many flames were extinguished by my shirt! haha..accident lah..everything was fine till the new rule was made..u cna relight ur fire anywhere...chaos..haha..everyone was lighting their candles everywhere even their opponents..like mel..i lit hers without knowing..and i stuck my hand in between the gates..haha..but mel found out soon n started blowing it out..haiz..plan failed..haha..well, the game ended with almost everyone stinky and soaked up with sweat..well, i was..haha..yeah..den we washed up and started singing and those we were alive from other rooms like jane n cheryl came over to talk..den slept abt 3 plus..yups
Day 2
Good morning!!! haha..its day 2..had a great breakfast..great milo! yupz..den we had devotions..mel n i led it since bev n cheryl n ps the both if us..haha..but it was fine den lunch den we went to the beach..and played some triathlon..haha..was fun but rather disgusting..im rather amazed i didnt suffer from food posioning seeing what went into my mouth..the triathlon..
Part 1
pass the pamelo neck to neck..well, the pamelo was too big so both grps started cheating..used their hands to hold it there..haha..
Part 2
i think it was the toilet roll thing..all had to go out to the sea n unroll and roll back a roll of toilet paper without letting it touch the water
Part 3
transport 3 potatoes from one line to another..and drop it into a hole
Part 3
transport sand..pass pass pass..till the whole bottle was full..
Part 4
the disgusting part..haha..a few fruits..
firstly, the rambutan..had to pluck out all the hair on the rambutan and dne eat the rambutan but den the rambutan was dunnoe like what by the time we plucked finish the hair..but i jus stuff it into my mouth
secondly, the banana..jus gobble down 2 bananas
thirdly,the pamelo..gobble it down
lastly and the most disgusting..the watermelon..half a watermelon(not cold..dats what grace wld say) 3 spoons and the rule..jus gobble it down..and we ate like barbarians..haha..esp aleena n me..y grp n jill will agree to dat..haha..i gobbled down like huge pieces which aleena pass to me..den they were all like spilling out of my mouth and the worse thing..there was one time when there were many small pieces of watermelon left in the watermelon shell and its goin to take kinda long to finish it so..i used my hand(it kinda had sand on it) and jus grabbed it and stuffed it into my mouth..haha..den aleena n i drank up the juice!haha..dats abt all den..we played captains ball in the sea with pamelo peel..haha..and the catcher had to catch the peel with the water melon shell..haha..was veyr funny
okayz..night time..bbq time...started barbecuing...thank God for all the labour..yupz..greta food great fellowship dne the floorball pple came back..yupz..den we had worship and time of sharing..the sharing was jus...beyond description..jessie n kai ling shared their testimony..and it jus brought tears to many..thank God for that...den we had a time of sharing..it jus went on n on..it was simply...great..den it exceeded way above the sleeping time..haha..it ended at like 1 30..yups..den we bathed n knocked off abt 3 plus too...
Day 3
we had breakfast..finishing up all the food and once again..greta milo to start the day!haha..yeah..den we packed up and got ready to leave..had a short time of prayer...yups..den we were on our way back to church..yupz..bakc in chruch..had a great lunch and soon it was time for amzing race..wow..this is really an AMAZING race..haha..we all almost fainted..but it was the best one! yupz..we went to UOB plaze..shenton way there..started and ended here..yupz..we started with the team leaders finding the yield card which allowed one team to stop the other fomr moving for 5 mins..yeah..yupz..so ter n i ran to look for it..n thanks to ter's blurness and my team's alertness..we got it! haha..den we were on our way..yupz..we got really lost once when finding some statue..it really took us a long time..yupz..but eventually we found it..yups..den we ran n ran..travelling everywhere..let me try to remember..first we went to G-max to get our clue..den we had a road block..to find the statues..got misled by a few pple but we eventually found it..sorry ah everyone..made u all run so much..sorry!ahh...i forgot..i dun think its in sequence...we went to raffles city shopping centre n were rewared a tub of ice cream so we gobbled it down and brought drinks n stuff den we took the shuttle bus to marina walk to the waterfall n walked on water! at least that was wat the clue said n picked up coins..den we made our way to the supreme court n stood outside the padang to sing the national athem to the leaders across the road..so pai seh..haha..but we did it den we ran to the esplanade n sold tissues as a roadblock den we seriously chiong to the finishing pt back at UOB..and to out surprise..we got there first!wooahh..great job everyone! the other team too! well done..it was definately a tough race..den we made our way back to chruch..dinner was all prepared..so we ate n moved our things up to the santuary and bathed..some went to SMU and some went to my condo downstairs to bathe n some in church..yupz..den smelling all clean we went bakc to church..had worship..jill shared her testi..touched many too..yupz n got to know each one better..den it was free n easy n we did really crazy stuff..like weird photos.haha..yeah..den we played animal game..chop chilli chop murderer..yeah..den it was like 4 plus? den many slept n bev n i went down to chat n soon jane n amanda came to join den we talked till 6 plus..den went up to sleep..yupz..slept for abt 3 hrs..yeah..
Day 4
dragged myself off the chairs n had breakfast..den we had devotions..was really last min..yeah..but bev n i led for my grp..yeah..den we jus shared..was quite good..yupz..den lunch after lunch..thanksgiving time..yeah..almost everyone shared..kai ling n her stare got most to share..haha...was a really great time to be sharing with everyone..for the last time in the camp..sad..but nvm..den there was some prize giving..haha..rather funny..shant elaborate on it..yups..den we came to the end of the camp..but im not done!!!haha..this is kinda long..
Just wanna thank God for everything...
Dear Lord, I thank you for everything during the camp...Lord, I thank you for this camp cos without you it wldnt be possible..I thank you for bringing it many campers Lord and i thank you for eveyr sec we cld spend together.Lord i thank you for all the sharing during the worship and thanksgiving that has touched and challenged many. Lord i thank you for the food dat was prepared each day..the labour n hardwork that has been put into it every meal. Lord, i thank you for the games that we can have fun without much injury..Lord I thank you for giving us a good weather esp during the amazing race and I thank you for my amazing race team..Thank you for every member who gave their all to finish the race.Sheryl, amanda, maja, michelle, grace who has put in an extra effort depsite some pains they had.Lord i thank you for the kai ling,benita n jessie..how they ran with us despite holding the huge waterbottles n other things.Lord i thank you for the other leaders as well, jill who has put in much effort to oraganise this camp n together with benita who helped me n mel n bev during the devotion time as we led..I thank you for Sonia who prepared the food each meal esp during the bbq.I thank you for everything n everyone who has helped n made this camp possible in a way or another..Lord, I know i cldnt see everyone's work but you see all Lord..and I thank you for every single one..Lord, once again..thank you for this camp n the showers of blessings..thank you for blessing this camp in a very special way..help the gals to bond closer together as these friendships have only began Lord.
