another post in less den a mth!!!haha..but took quite long..haha..nvm..at least there's an improvement..
Anyway,baking on sat!!! Stayed over at joan's house after friday worship..first we took 67 to kalland mrt den we took bus no.2..joan wanted to take the mrt and abandon us actually more like herself...haha..but well,we managed to persuade her not to so we waited for quite sometime for the bus and when the bus came..bev jus 'collapased' in her seat..in order words she slept..den we got off the bus at tanah merah mrt and waited for ter...the mrt was rather uluated..since it was like 12am in the morning..haha..yeah..den we waited and waited..and the grand arrival of ms teresa!!!haha..anw,we walked back to joan's hse and i think bev went mad..she started singing.."calvary's blood"..i carried a burden a staggering weight...haha..cos she was carrying a rather huge n heavy bag with all ter n bev's stuff for 3 days..haha..dat explains y...den we ate 'dinner' at 12 plus..haha..we washed up..stone ard and had a time of prayer den some slept first after dat..like mel..haha
Next day-joan,anne n myself woke up at 7 n made our way to the market..or ntuc and bought some ingredients for the lunch later on..yupz..den we returned..oh yeah..thank God for joan's ah ma..without her...no lunch!!!haha..cos we cldnt find the hamburger buns..yeah..den we mad our way back n started to figure out the packaging stuff..yeah..cos there were some problems but we managed to solve it..thnks to mel's intelligence..this shows dat mel does more den eat..haha..yeah..den we staarted buttering the buns n filling it up with ingredients n grilled,toasted,fried the chicken patties..(many ways to prepare it..we were like experimenting it..haha)anw,soon the burgers were ready! so were some pple..yupz..jessie n cheryl came..den ate the burgers..yupz..den soon more n more pple came..sheryl,bernice,daphne,weina,christine k,jane,amanda j...dats all i can remember..forgive if i forgot to put down ur name..yupz..anw,soon the baking started and so we baked n baked..den pple like mel n i were slacking..haha..cos the work comes later..haha..anw, we made campbell soup..yupz..fortunately it was drinkable..haha..and the cookies were ready!!!yay!!! hooray..it tasted really good..=D
Then came the cleaning up part..the hse was in a rather big mess..with the dough flying eveyrwhere and the sesame seeds flying everywhere from the hamburger buns..haha..yeah..so clean clean clean..seems like there was a broom gang..haha..more of a clenaing up gang..after the sweeping n mopping came the washing up of dishes...and it kinda overflowed..from the sink dat is..haha..yeah..but anw, wash wash wash..den joan n i came out of the kitchem liek dead zombies..haha..done with the washing up den we started packaging the cookies..den soon we realized dat there were too few cookies...so we decided to bake somemore..so joan n ter went to buy more ingredients n the baking started again..yupz..n i had to leave b4 the last batch was finished..so i didnt noe wat happened..yups..but heard it was good..except for a tray of burned cookies..haha...yeah..den i made my way home...long journey....took abt an hr..haha..slightly less..yups
Anyway, it was really great time of bonding for the gals..got to noe a few more pple better...like amanda jong! played with her the jie long game(in chinese) den play until dunnoe how long..1 hr..wah..power ah amanda! haha..well, had a really great time..yupz..thank God for many many blessings..Thank God for everyone's presence,everyone's hardwork n labour,for everyone who laboured infront n behind the scenes! Thank God for the great time of bonding,fellowship,fun and every moment spent together..thank God for this opportunty to serve in the coffee ministry..=DDDD
