Back to the start

Perhaps it's all coming back to the start
the start of a much dreaded year for many
with no exception of myself

After close to 9 months,
with the song sung once again,
I'm brought back to the beginning of this year
to the post I blogged at the end of last year
for the year ahead

Past experiences amplified
Numerous goals dissolved
And of course, the top of the list
has yet to be known

Whatever it is,
Lord,
When the darkness closes in,
help me to say,
Blessed be Your name

You know best
And You'll provide all that I need
in the place You've placed me
