The Opportunity Statue- statue of a person with long, flowing hair infront of its face, but completely bald in the back.

You could grab it when it was coming towards you, but you could never get hold of it once it had passed.

To realise the value of one year,
ask a student who has failed his final exam

To realise the value of one month,
ask a mother who just gave birth to a premature baby

To realise the value of one week,
ask the editor of a weekly newspaper

To realise the value of one day,
ask the daily labourer who has ten kids to feed

To realise the value of one hour,
ask a boyfriend and girlfriend who are waiting to meet

To realise the value of one minute,
ask the person who just missed his flight

To realise the value of one second,
ask the person who survived a car accident

To realise the value of one milli-second,
ask the person who has just won a gold medal

We're given 86400 seconds each day to spend, invest or waste.
Busy-ness or amusement isn't the goal in life.
It is doing what counts, one activity at a time.
