As many say,
'Time flies'
and true enough,
possibly the longest holiday in 3 years come to an end today
It's been an interesting 6 weeks
Stayed at home for the main bulk of it,
not by choice
Someone asked if I felt that I've wasted my longest holiday
staying at home,
not being able to do much
Wasn't that sure of my answer then
But after spending the last few days
running around,
doing things,
just being busy...
There's no doubt of whether I've wasted those weeks
I felt the emptiness of busyness in a span of 3 days
And now I greatly appreciate the moments
of quietness and stillness
Just to spend unhurried time
And I'm thankful,
for not being given a chance to run around like usual
cause then I would have really wasted the holiday
Now that a new semester begins
Engine restarts,
timetable's packed
things going to get moving
One desire:
unhurried time with Him every day
"Be still and know that I am God" Psalms 46:10
